Beauty Appetite by Jessica Simon

You guys must have known how I love my Skin79: Hot Pink BB Cream which I always use everyday, suitable for my oily skin and perfect for hot and humid weather in Indonesia. So I never change my BB cream and always repurchase the Hot Pink one, until I met this little guy..

I'm Mac NC25 so the shade I'm using is the no. 21 (Light Beige). I love how this BB cream has some shade, so it won't look too light or too dark for our skin, because everyone has different skin tone, and my Skin79 Hot Pink only comes in one shade.. The shades are: #31 Golden Beige, #13 Milky Beige, #21 Light Beige, #23 Natural Beige, #27 Honey Beige.
And it also comes in two different size, 20ml and 50ml. Because I was just trying out to see if this BB cream works for me, I bought the travel size one, but I will make sure to buy the original size one later hehehehe.

The shade is perfect for my skin tone, and the coverage is awesome! Just a little goes a long way, and even though the coverage is not as good as foundation, but as a BB cream, it does a very good job! It also has kind of baby powder scent, not a bad scent though, I kinda like it ;)

(left: without flash // right: with flash)

If you apply this on your face, you don't have to apply sunscreen (it has SPF42 PA+++ how cool is that!!!), moisturizer, concealer, primer and even powder! It gives flawless and natural finish to your face. If you're in a hurry, this guy is your best buddy. The less makeup you wear, the better! This BB cream doesn't break me out, I love this BB cream sooo much! I haven't found anything I don't like from this BB cream though..

Here comes, another lip tint review from me!
This Tony Moly: Tony Tint is one of my favorite lippies, because the color really reminds me of Snow White. Because the color which I have is the Red Apple, it also comes in Cherry Pink color. Red Apple, even the name reminds me of Snow White, who has fair skin, black hair and beautiful red lips.

The packaging is the same with normal lip products, made in plastic, and makes it travel friendly. When you open the tube, you'll the applicator, just like the usual applicator, nothing special. But then, you'll notice the scent, unfortunately for me its not a good scent. You'll get the scent attached to your lips after you apply it, the more product you use, the more scent you will get.

The consistency of the product is really watery, just like normal water, but red. The color is extremely opaque. If you use the applicator directly onto your lips, it will make a mess, because the color is really really pigmented. And you have to wait for a minute or two for the product to dry.
But I like to use the product by making some dots in my lips, about 4 dots on each lip and blend the color with my clean finger. The color is beautiful and looks like my real lip color but a lot better hahaha. Look at the pictures below to see the difference between using the applicator directly onto my skin and by making some dots and blend the color with my finger.

This Tony Tint doesn't make my lips dry but it also doesn't moisturize my lips which I don't like, because I prefer to have lip products that have nice color but also moisturize my lips. It stays on my lips for hours if I don't eat or drink. The product is hard to remove, even with makeup remover, but for me its a good thing though! I love lip products that stay long! :)
Just make sure you don't have chapped lips when you apply this product on your lips, it won't look good, it will make you look like you have a very chapped lips.

Finally have time to do another eye makeup tutorial! Even though I'm still recovering from flu, but I'm excited because it seems like I haven't done a tutorial for a long time :p
Today's tutorial is going to be a deep ocean blue..

1. Apply eye primer for a long lasting makeup
2. Apply NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk, so the color will pop out really well

3. Apply light turquoise eyeshadow in the corner of your lids

4. Now, apply teal eyeshadow in the outer corner of your eyes

5. Use navy blue eyeshadow in the outer V of your eyes

6. Then, use broken white eyeshadow in the inner corner of your eyes, to brighten up your eyes!

7. Use the same teal eyeshadow to line the middle part of your lower lash line
8. And use the same navy blue eyeshadow to line the outer part of your lower lash line, and blend the edges for a clean look

9. Line your lash line with black eyeliner. Curl your lashes, then coat your lashes with mascara generously.

And we're DONE! I only need three brushes for this look: eyeshadow brush, blending brush, and angled brush. Just make sure your brush are clean, because we also want a clean look! :)

Have a wonderful weekend!
XOXOXOXO

I LOVE SMOKEY EYES.
And I love pairing smokey eyes with nude lips.

If you're looking for a pigmented nude lipstick (plus an affordable one!) you might want to try NYX round lipstick in Pure Nude. The lipstick is creamy and easy to use. The color is really pretty, especially for you who has fair to medium skin tone.

The only thing that I hate is that if you have dry lips, the color doesn't look good on your lips, it makes your lips look really dry. My lips always dry every time I don't apply lipbalm. You just have to make sure your lips are not dry when you're going to apply this lippies!

Do you like nude lippies too? ;)

Hello guys, how have you been? I'm so sorry for the lack of updates this week. As I have told you last week in 'Peacock Inspired Eye Makeup Tutorial' post, I was going for an interview and I got accepted, and started to work from last Wednesday. I supposed to work next Monday, but the Company urgently need some workers, so my friends and I started to work already. It was so sudden and that's why I couldn't do some updates here.. I work from 8.30 to 5.00, but my house is far from the company I work in, it takes an hour drive in the morning, and three hours drive at night, I'm really really exhausted, not about the work, but about the journey I have to take :(.

Well today I'm going to review Lioele: Artist Auto Eyebrow, its my favorite eyebrow pencil by far!

Description:
The Lioele Artist Auto Eyebrow is the only tool you'll ever need to fill in your eyebrows. The triangle shaped pencil is the ideal shape and size to properly fill in your eyebrows with ease. Once filled in, the brush on the other end can be used to gently brush your brows into their proper shape. The mechanical design also allows for a quick refill of the product. When applied correctly, this tool will help you fill in over-tweezed brows or spaces for a more natural and polished look.

Which Color is Best for You?
The rule of thumb for choosing your eyebrow color is that those with lighter hair should choose an eyebrow color that is one to two shades darker and those with darker hair should choose an eyebrow color that is one to two shades lighter.
Natural Brown: Those with lighter (dark blonde or light brown) hair and lighter complexions.
Dark Brown: Ideal for those with brown/dark brown hair and medium to dark complexions.
Grey Black: Best for Asian women or anyone with black hair and light to medium complexions.

How to use:
Fill in your eyebrows by copying the shape of your brow hairs and brush on the color in a light upward motion in the direction of hair growth. Control the density of the color by using either end (wide or narrow) of the pencil and then brush with the spoolie from the other end.

I love how that it is dual-ended, with the pencil and the spoolie, you don't have to worry about drawing your eyebrows too light or too dark, it gives the perfect and natural look for you! The pigmentation is good and it lasts all day. Just choose the right color, it comes in three shades, natural brown, dark brown and grey black. The one that I have is dark brown. If you're Asian, you should have this baby! And I think this is also the best pencil for beginner who never try draw eyebrows before, fully recommended!

The shape of the pencil is perfect! Its kind of triangular shape and you don't have to sharpen the pencil, you only have to rotate the pencil. The spoolie is really soft and work really good at blending, I never expect an attached spoolie to be this good!! I totally love this baby!

"The Chocolate Makes You More Sweet & Deep"

My first The Skin Food product to review! The only reason I bought it is because I was tempted by the word 'Choco' hehehe, I thought it must smell like chocolate, and I WAS RIGHT!!! It does smell chocolate if you apply it on your lips, can't resist to not lick my own lips ;p. I love lip products that smell good!!

I have the Choco Smoky Lip Color no. 1 (Milky Beige Choco), it comes in two other colors (Milky Coral Choco and Milky Baby Pink Choco). The color is really gorgeous, deep and pigmented.

It comes with soft sponge applicator, like normal lip products. I really that its not so glossy like normal lip glosses, actually its not so glossy but also not so matte, I don't know how to call it hahaha. And even though the texture is creamy, but its not sticky on my lips at all :) And the most awesome thing is it doesn't dry my lips! <3

Hi my beautiful ladies, hope ya'll are doing good! I wish September will be a good month for all of us :). Tomorrow I'm going to have a reunion with my junior high school friends, haven't seen most of them in ages! And the day after tomorrow, I'm going to have my work interview as a trainee in a MICE company for 6 months. Job training is also a subject that has to be done from my campus. Soooo, wish me luck guys! I hope I can work really well and gain lots of knowledges, relations, also experiences for myself and for the company I work in.

Well, enough talking and let's go straight to the tuturial!
Today's tutorial is inspired by peacock which has beautiful feathers. I'm using only one palette for this tutorial which I got last week, because a friend of mine insisted me to got the palette, and I finally bought it because I can't resist the gorgeous colors the palette has, I promise I'm going to review the palette for you guys.

I'm going to use only 3 colors: green, teal and navy blue, white eyeshadow as a highlighter is not included.

Prepare your eyelids with eye primer, especially in the innter part of your eyes, because we're going to use light color and we want the color to show up. And because I'm going to use dark color on the outer part of my eyes, I'm using black gel liner and my eyeshadow brush to blend the color, only apply it from the center to the outer part of your eyelids.

Start apply green eyeshadow to your inner part of your eyes, make sure to use a clean brush, we don't want to mess with the colors, right?

Now, apply teal eyeshadow in the center part of your eyelids, be careful when you blend green and teal colors together. In my first attempt to try this look, I didn't blend the colors carefully, so the green color was almost gone :(.

The last color is the navy blue, apply it on the outer part of your eyes, and again, be careful with blending the colors together :). The reason I'm using black gel liner from the start is because I want a very deep and dark navy blue color.

I skip some parts here, but you can figure it out.. I apply white eyeshadow as highlight in the corner of my eyes, then I apply teal in the center of my lower lash line, and apply navy blue on the outer part of my eyes. Blend out the edges with my blending brush. Apply eyeliner and tightline my eyes, but I keep it simple, because I don't want the eyeliner to cover up the eyeshadow, today the eyeshadow is the main part of the event hehehehe. Last but not least, curl up your lashes and apply mascara, we're DONE! :)

What do you think about this look?
