Review: Cetaphil UVA/UVB Defense SPF 50+

by - December 03, 2015

Just in time as it is almost the end of the year, which means HOLIDAY!! :D I want to remind you to take care of your skin. Haha, I know it sounds simple as I talk about skincare all the time (I'm obsessed with skincare, as you guys can tell), but we all know that prevention is better than cure.

As I told you in my Updated Skin Care Routine video (go watch it if you haven't already), there are three steps of skin care routine: Cleanse gently, Moisturize intensely, and lastly Protect daily. These three are so basic, I'm sure most of you are doing the first two steps everyday, but sometimes we neglect the last step, which is to protect our skin from the sun using sunscreen.

I'm not saying that you only need sunscreen only on holiday, you basically need to use sunscreen every single day, but using sunscreen on holiday is crucial, especially if you like to go to the beach like I do! :)
I enjoy being under the sun when I'm on holiday, I don't mind getting a bit tanned, because as people say, 'Tan lines will fade, but memories will last forever.' But I always make sure to apply my sunscreen before going out :)

I used to dislike sunscreen, because I prefer to use one that has high SPF, but the higher SPF it has the stickier it gets. I was torn in between protecting my skin and feeling uncomfortable of the stickiness, and not to mention smells horrible. I'm so pleased to find drugstore sunscreen that isn't sticky and has no weird sunscreen-scent, it's the Cetaphil UVA/UVB Defense SPF 50+!!

Product Descriptions:
Cetaphil UVA/UVB Defence SPF 50+ is a broad spectrum daily facial moisturiser specifically formulated to provide very high5 level of protection for sensitive skin4.

As expected of Cetaphil products, this sunscreen is also gentle and suitable for all skin type. I can share this sunscreen with my friends, family, even my little cousin. I don't have to worry about it, because I know that the product is exceptionally safe!
I travelled to some places last month and I brought this sunscreen everywhere with me. I put Cetaphil UVA/UVB Defense SPF 50+ inside a ziplock bag, at first I expected the product to burst and spill out from the packaging, because that's what usually happen when you're flying. But I was glad the cap was still completely sealed, I didn't spill any product yay!

The texture is creamy, it's not only protect your skin from the sun, but also moisturize your skin at the same time. It glides smoothly on the skin, doesn't leave any white residue, doesn't have weird sunscreen scent that I hate, and more importantly, it's not greasy! I have oily skin so I really appreciate Cetaphil for making a lightweight sunscreen :)

Mostly, I use it for my face, but I can also use it for my body, so I don't need separate products to protect my face and body, plus it doesn't break me out. So, if you're like me, who hates sticky product sits on your face all day unpleasantly, you might want to try out Cetaphil UVA/UVB Defense SPF 50+, it can easily be found at local drugstores.
